At 83 feet, Tunnel Falls is the tallest waterfall in Clifty Falls State Park and one of the highest in Indiana. It is reached via the rugged Trail 5, which descends a long steep staircase from Lilly Memorial to an observation deck.
Before you go
Waterfalls are hazardous by nature — wet rock, cold water, and unstable edges — and flow varies enormously with season and recent rain. Trail figures here describe the route as documented, not conditions today. Check Indiana DNR (Clifty Falls State Park) for closures and current conditions, and confirm land status before setting out.
