A side-by-side double waterfall of about 15 feet on the West Kill in the Hunter-West Kill Wilderness of the Catskills. The easiest approach follows the Diamond Notch Trail about one mile from the end of Spruceton Road to a footbridge above the falls.
Before you go
Waterfalls are hazardous by nature — wet rock, cold water, and unstable edges — and flow varies enormously with season and recent rain. Trail figures here describe the route as documented, not conditions today. Check NYSDEC (Hunter-West Kill Wilderness) for closures and current conditions, and confirm land status before setting out.

Spring (peak flow) through fall. Waterfall flow swings enormously with snowmelt and recent rain, so a fall that roars in spring can be a trickle by late summer.
