Bridal Veil Falls
Bridal Veil Falls is the tallest of the Keystone Canyon waterfalls near Valdez, Alaska, stair-stepping roughly 600 feet down the canyon's east wall above the Lowe River. Easily seen from a pullout on the Richardson Highway, it is snowmelt-fed in summer and freezes into a famous ice-climbing curtain in winter.
Before you go
Waterfalls are hazardous by nature — wet rock, cold water, and unstable edges — and flow varies enormously with season and recent rain. Trail figures here describe the route as documented, not conditions today. Check the managing agency for closures and current conditions, and confirm land status before setting out.
