Massachusetts wake-sport rules

Massachusetts has no statewide wakesurfing-specific regulation. General law requires slow, no-wake speed (6 mph or less) within 150 feet of a swimmer, shoreline, water-skier, boat launch, raft/float, or moored/docked boat. Additional limits are set by municipalities. No wake-surf-specific distance/depth/acreage thresholds exist statewide.
