Anyone required to have a fishing license must also pay the annual Trout Fee to fish for or possess trout (brook, brown, or rainbow). Children under 16 may fish trout without the fee when fishing with a licensed, trout-fee-paid adult and sharing the adult's 5-trout daily limit, or may pay their own Trout Fee for their own limit.
